Yes, our Bioscan™ technolgy is both safe, accurate, and non-invasive. The hand cradle is cleared as a Class II Medical Device by the FDA for both accuracy and safety. It has met or exceeded EN60601-1-2 and EN55011 Class B Part 15 requirements for safety and accuracy.
There are various other biometric companies that are utilizing electrodermal activity and galvanic skin response. Most notably, Withings (the gold standard of at-home smart scales) uses this technology to measur electrodermal activity on some of their higher end biometric scales.
